Washed microlot from Kirinyaga on the slopes of Mount Kenya, produced by Karimikui. Grown at 1600–1900 MASL in volcanic soils. Expect a vibrant, clean cup with red currant, grapefruit, lemon zest, and floral notes. A classic Kenyan profile driven by bright red fruit acidity and citrus lift. Extended fermentation and a soaking stage in the washed process enhance clarity, structure, and a sparkling finish, with sweetness developing as it cools. Best enjoyed as filter for clarity and vibrancy.
